In order to ensure fairness amongst students and provide
mutual security, the school operates standard terms and conditions, which apply
to all existing and new clients.
Registration:
- Registration Forms have to be filled in on the
first lesson. Registration is on a first come first served basis.
Payment of fees:
- Payments can be made monthly, half-termly or
termly, with an online transfer, cash or cheque. Please make cheques
payable to ‘D. Cooper’, please put your child’s name on the back. Cash is
to be given in an envelope, with the correct amount in fees, with your/ your
child’s name on the front. For online transfers, a reference must be given
(a surname and as much of your name/ your child’s first name as possible).
- All payments must be paid within 14 days of
receiving an invoice or the first week back of term, where applicable.
- The School, as a business, reserves the right to
operate at any time during the year and is not only limited to providing
classes during the State School Term (your child’s School Term). This
means that Term lengths will vary and lessons could still be provided in
State School half-terms. At any time during the year we may have different
half-term dates to State Schools or no half-term at all. As per the below
point, full fees must be paid and no refunds will be given.
- In cases of illness, holidays or where there are no
lessons due to severe weather conditions, no refunds can be given. For
courtesy, notice must be given when leaving the school, as there are
waiting lists for some classes. If you or your child leaves half way
through the term, fees cannot be refunded.
Uniform:
- Correct and appropriate practice wear must be worn
to all classes and exams. No jewellery is permitted (including watches)
and hair must be neatly tied back from the face in a bun for Ballet and a
tight neat ponytail for Modern (female students). Uniform can be purchased
from the School at competitive prices- sometimes some items are available
the School’s ‘Swap Scheme’.
Class Structure
- I understand that during my child’s class they may
be physically moved, placed and corrected. Physical contact will be kept
to a minimum, but I do understand that my son/ daughter will need to be
physically corrected, due to the nature of teaching Dance, to proceed
forward within their Dance education.
State of health:
- It is the responsibility of the student’s
parents/guardians to advise the school of any health conditions or
injuries and also to keep the School updated with new details.
Lost Property
- Please be aware that the school cannot accept
responsibility for any lost items
